*Just my ranting of information*

Okay, so if you didn't hear by now, my baby boy Louie has been at the emergency pet hospital for getting into, and ODing on a bottle of Rimadil. The last few days have consisted of various tests and watching of the vitals. *warning, gross surgery information* So both of his kidneys shut down, along with his liver, plus he hadn't been eating. So after a few days in the ER, he still hadn't eaten, and his blood pressure spiked, as well as he started bleeding internal blood out his rectom from an ulceration in his stomach. His numbers were at a 115, and went down to a 107, which is good, but they need to be at a 25 for him to be at the regular clinic I worked at, so you can imagine. But then again, those levels were from before his blood pressure spiked, so now I have no idea what his levels are...*gross surgery information over* So now he gets one last test to see if he can get better, and if the results don't come back well, then......

Well, we have to make the call today, and if the pattern continues the way it has been, his test won't come back well. If we decide it is his time, he'll be brought back to our clinic to be put down, but I already know what the call's going to be. You can leave it to the professionals or whatever, but I saw death on that dog a few days ago, and it's been killing me for a while now. My mom and older brother went to Arizona, so there not even here, and so my younger brother and I are the only ones that are going to be there.

On another emo note, Clyde, my other dog, hasn't been taking Louie's loss very well. He's been laying in the spot Louie used to lie in, waiting for him. We, (and by that I mean I), have been giving him extra attention, and playing more, to help with the gap. I've noticed something weird too. Clyde has picked up a lot of Louie's weird habits. Like sleeping by the door, not going outside in the rain, not barking, and he's been really close to me, when usually he ignores my existance. I think Louie being gone is something he's taking really hard, and his favorite person in the world, my mom, goes on a trip with Ryan, so now he thinks their not coming back either. Thanks guys -_-;

So I went to see him today, and the decision was made to wait another day, since his levels were looking better. He went from a 107 to a 100. (still needs to be at a 25) *more surgery talk* So he's looking more jarvis(1) today, which is bad, but his urine levels are back to normal, which means his kidneys are doing a lot better. He didn't really want to stand or be energetic at all, but he ate food while we were there, which is a great improvement. Were going to do a bile test, but he's not showing signs of ulceration anymore, so I'm expecting something positive, despite his jarvis. We have him on a patacium chloride drip and one other fluid, so he's been well hydrated this whole time. *surgery talk over*

*more emo ranting*

So now we make the final call tomorrow, *because today was a trap* And I'm kinda getting pissed, because my grandpa is all for putting him down, my mom is callin' me and talking about how much fun she's having in Arizona, and hell, I'm tired of getting positive news that ends up not being good enough. I can get the 'levels' or the 'symptoms' but no one's giving me and goddamn' answers!

Ok, so now they say the hospital bill is getting bad, so there taking Louie out early. My grandparents took him to the cabin while I was out today, so I didn't even get to see him, or get an update on how he's doing. Clydes' been keeping me busy I guess, though he's a lot less sociable then Louie is. My mom is really mad at my grandma right now, and she says she's going to bring Louie back home, which I don't totally agree with. I think he should be in the hospital if he's not better, but then again, I can't front the bill. Sometimes this whole thing feels like a power struggle between who gets the final say, and I'm getting kinda tired of it. My grandparents are pushing into it a bit too much, and my mom refuses to make any decision without placing total responsibility of the outcome on me. So either I get absolutely no say, or the whole damn' situation is my fault. And don't think my mom won't just blame the whole damn' thing on me, cuz' she already has once before. *sigh* Guess what I'm saying is, this whole things gotten way more complicated than Louie being sick...

My mom woke me up this morning and told me were putting him down. She said that his liver is almost all broken down and that he wouldn't make it to the weekend. My brother wants to go in today and do it. I don't even know how I feel about that. Ashamed? Because I didn't want to take him at all? Angry? Because he said it like it was just one big inconvenience to him? Do I agree? Hell, I don't know. My baby boy is set to die today.
